How to Enable Email Login for Your Project (Authorization)

Lead collection on Interacty is now even easier. With the new Email Login feature, you can ask users to enter their information before they see your project — even if it's a presentation with navigation.

Put simply, this article explains how to require users to enter their email before accessing your project. This is especially useful for events, competitions, and marketing campaigns where verified leads are essential.

How to Add a Login Page to Your Project

To activate the login feature, just open your project in the editor and enable the “Add a login page for users when starting a project” option in the project settings.

Once enabled, a login page will automatically appear before the start of your project. Users will not be able to proceed until all required fields are completed.

To edit the login page, click on it in the top-left corner of the screen and press Edit. There you can choose what information to ask from users, change the layout, and adjust the look to fit your brand.

To set up your login page, you can change the font, background color, and upload your logo. You can also add blocks like text, images, videos, buttons, or audio. This helps you create a nice-looking page that matches your brand and welcomes users from the first screen.

Two Ways to Collect Emails

There are two ways to authorize users:

1. Basic Email Validation

In this mode, users enter their email and any other required info. After that, they get access to the project.

2. Verified Email via Confirmation Code

If you want to collect only real and verified emails, turn on the email verification option. In this mode, users must enter their email and confirm it by typing in a code sent to their inbox. Only after that they can access the project. This helps you get high-quality leads with confirmed email addresses.

Note: Users can request a new confirmation code up to 10 times using the “Resend email” option.

How Long Users Stay Logged In

You can choose how long the system should remember each user before asking them to log in again. This helps you match the login to your event or project needs.

Available options:

- One session — Ideal for exhibitions or one-time access

- One day — Perfect for single-day events

- One week — Great for challenges or short marathons

- One month — Best for advent calendars or longer campaigns

If the login time ends, users will just need to log in again. They won’t lose access to the project. To log out manually, they can click the logout icon in the top-right corner.

Where to Find Collected Data

All login form submissions are automatically saved in your project’s Statistics section. Authorization data is stored separately for easy access.

Advice: If your project includes multiple interactive blocks or layers, we recommend thoroughly testing the login flow and data collection process before publishing. Make sure the information gathered matches your reporting needs. This helps ensure good user experience and accurate analytics.

Important: Enabling the login page does not automatically activate other data collection blocks such as lead forms or leaderboard registration. If you want to use a lead form or enable the leaderboard in your project, make sure to turn on those features separately in the settings.

If the login page already collects all the necessary information (for example, email and nickname), the system will recognize this and automatically skip any duplicate forms — providing a better experience for your users without asking them to enter the same data twice.

Integrations

The login page also supports standard integrations such as Webhooks and Mailchimp — available for Business users.

Summary

The Email Login feature is easy to use and can be a big help in many types of projects. Whether you're running a contest, a quiz, or an event, it helps you collect the data you need and makes the user experience smoother.
